Delay in EBSCO/OCLC eBook MARC records Sep 10, 09:00 - Sep 13, 09:00 UTC
OCLC is performing a re-architecture installation this coming weekend, starting September 10. As a result of the change, OCLC will pick up the EBSCO eBooks data and holdings feeds a few days later than usual, which will result in delayed delivery of related MARCs. OCLC confirmed these activities will resume as soon as the installation is complete and expect to be caught up by September 19. Please contact OCLC customer support with any questions.

Monitoring - UPDATE: Our IT Team is continuing to work on addressing this issue. We are making progress to prevent files from being dropped in the future and working to upload any missing files. This may result in duplicate files being posted for some customers. More updates as they become available.

Identified - We are aware of delays with files being uploaded to customer's FTP Directories. This includes but is not limited to Electronic Order Confirmation Records, Electronic Order Responses, Export files and MARC Records. We are working diligently to resolve this issue and will provide updates as they become available.

During this window, users may experience some latency in logins. If this occurs, it should not last more than a few minutes. Scheduled - At GOBI Library Solutions, we are committed to being the leading provider of e-books, print books and workflow services to academic libraries worldwide. To ensure continued, reliable support of the needs of those libraries, we are in the process of upgrading our system that is currently used for FTP and SFTP connections to ftp.ybp.com. There will be no changes to the IP address used for this connection nor will there be any changes made to usernames or passwords as part of this upgrade, but there will be an outage while we are executing the final stage of this project.

The upgrade will be taking place on September 15, 2021 starting at approximately 7:00 a.m. EDT. We expect this upgrade to take 7 hours and during this time, the ftp.ybp.com FTP/SFTP site will be unavailable. This means you will be unable to connect to ftp.ybp.com to deliver electronic orders or to pick up GOBI exports, catalog records, electronic invoices, order confirmations, or open order status reports.

While the FTP/SFTP site will be unavailable, the GOBI interface will not be impacted with the exception of GOBI Export Records, which will be delayed during the outage.
