Personalization - System Maintenance Mar 19, 2024 11:00-12:00 UTC
EBSCO will be performing maintenance to the personalization database on Tuesday, March 19 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am EDT (11:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC). During this time, users will be able to access EBSCO interfaces using personal user authentication, however, they will be logged in as institutional users.

In addition, the following features may be unavailable during the maintenance window:

Classic user interfaces (EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, Reference Centers, Nursing Reference Center Plus, etc.)
* Folders/Custom Folders
* Search and journal alerts
* Saved searches
* Saved persistent links
* eBook checkouts and holds
* Saved preferences
* Important notes (Nursing Reference Center Plus only)

New user interfaces/EBSCO Mobile app (New EBSCO Discovery Service, New EBSCOhost, Explora)
* Projects (including Add to project feature)
* Saved articles (including the ability to save articles to the Dashboard)
* Saved searches
* eBook checkouts and holds
* Liked items

Scheduled - EBSCO will perform scheduled maintenance on Saturday, March 16th, starting at 9:00 AM EDT (1:00 PM UTC) and it is expected to be completed by 3:00 PM EDT (7 PM UTC).

During this maintenance window, librarians purchasing eBooks and Flipster magazines will not see those new items on EBSCOhost/EBSCO Discovery Service as quickly as usual. Once this maintenance is complete, orders will be fulfilled through to EBSCOhost/EBSCO Discovery Service.

Investigating - Due to an issue with the database production process for EBSCO eBooks, some newly ordered EBSCO eBook titles may not be available on EBSCOhost as quickly as expected. Affected eBooks are those that were new to the EBSCO eBooks catalog as of March 4th.

This issue could affect orders from March 4th - today.

Teams are actively working to resolve the issue and we will post a updates as progress is made.

Scheduled - EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance on the systems that manage EBSCO database and catalog updates. Maintenance will begin at 12:00pm EST (5:00pm UTC) on Friday March 8, 2024 and end by 6:00pm EST (11:00pm UTC) Sunday March 10, 2024.

During this time, updates to database content, Google Scholar updates, and catalog builds may be affected as this maintenance is performed. Customers may notice a slight delay to content updates once scheduled maintenance is completed and all data processing is re-started.
