Scheduled Maintenance

EBSCO eBooks - System Maintenance Apr 7, 2026 08:00-11:00 UTC

EBSCO will perform scheduled maintenance on the EBSCO eBooks system on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, starting at 4:00 AM ET (8:00 AM UTC) and it is expected to last approximately 3 hours.

During the maintenance window, users will not be able to download full, DRM-protected EBSCO eBooks from the EBSCOhost platform or open previously-downloaded files in Adobe Digital Editions for the first time. Users who already have already opened files in Adobe Digital Editions will be able to continue reading those eBooks without issue.

There is no impact to eBook ordering, for end users reading eBooks in the online viewer, or downloading eBook chapters or DRM-free eBooks.

Scheduled - EBSCO will perform scheduled maintenance on the EBSCO eBooks system on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM ET (1:00 PM UTC) and it is expected to last approximately 10 minutes.

During the maintenance window, users reading EBSCO eBooks in the viewer may experience an error. If the user refreshes their screen, the error will resolve and access will be restored. If a user attempts to download a full eBook during this time, they will experience an error. After the maintenance is complete, all eBook workflows will be fully functional again.
